I'm Against Gerrymandering. Vote 'Yes' on Redistricting
I'm against gerrymandering and I voted yes.
I'm also against punching people in the face. But if you punch me, I'm going to punch back. Especially if you're going to keep on punching people until someone stops you.
Now, imagine a bully is punching you in the face, and your sister tells you that you shouldn't punch back because two wrongs don't make a right. Later, you find out that your sister is in love with the bully.

That's what Democrats in Virginia are getting from Republicans who claim to be against gerrymandering. Republicans aren't against gerrymandering. They're against Democrats fighting back when Republicans in other states gerrymander to diminish our votes. And it's all because they're in love with a bully.
It's true that two wrongs don't make a right, and it is written that if you're struck on one cheek, you should offer the other. But those words don't mean you shouldn't defend yourself or others when you or they are being attacked. And we are being attacked.
Republican gerrymandering in other states takes away fair representation for all of us. Even if more Americans want Democrats in Congress, Congress gets more Republicans.
Too many Republicans in Congress is more than unrepresentative and unfair. It's dangerous. It's more Republican lap dogs fawning over Donald Trump and approve anything he wants. It's more federal agents terrorizing citizens. More white-washing American history. Less funding for education. Less support for health care. Less accountability for those who discriminate. Less protection for people in dangerous work environments. Lower wages. Fewer decent jobs. More pollution. More stupid wars. More unpunished war crimes. More fucking lies.

We're being punched in the face by Republican gerrymandering. It's time to hit back. Vote Yes. Early voting has already started. Don't stay home . Don't sit this out. Find out where and when you can vote, and do it. Vote YES!
