It's Time to Hit Back - Vote Yes on Redistricting
Imagine a bully is punching you in the face, and the moment you hit back, your sister or your brother yells at you for fighting.
Later, you find out that your sister or brother is sleeping with the bully.
They're not against fighting. They're against anyone fighting the bully with whom they're in love.
That's what Democrats in Virginia are getting from Republicans who claim to be against gerrymandering. Republicans aren't against gerrymandering. They're against Democrats fighting back when Republicans in other states gerrymander to take away our voting power. And it's all in service to the bully they love.
Gerrymandering in other states is an attack on us and we have to fight back. Republican gerrymandering takes away fair representation for all Americans. Even if more people want Democrats in Congress, Congress gets more Republicans.
Too many Republicans in Congress is more than unrepresentative and unfair. It dangerous. It's more Republican lap dogs to approve anything Donald Trump wants. It's more federal agents terrorizing citizens. More white-washing American history. Less funding for education. Less support for health care. Less accountability for those who discriminate. Less protection for people in dangerous work environments. Fewer decent jobs. More pollution. More stupid wars. More fucking lies.
We're being punched in the face by Republican gerrymandering. It's time to hit back. Vote Yes. Early voting has already started. Find out where and when you can vote, and do it. Vote YES!
